This was a very early training script, written to gain experience in working with XML and RSS. The result is a PHP script that can easily be included in any site, and can read RSS data from any source with ease. It's purpose-built for Wordpress, and can adapt to any data given, in any text encoding (even if it's different from the site retrieving the feed). Additional features include advanced error handling (with support for logged-in users to see more error detail, if supported by the site it's used on), highly flexible configuration, and overrides for the blog's displayed title and time format.
