At Blackwolf Design, quality is crucial. We put the utmost care and attention to detail into every project we work on, and unlike some designers, we never re-use layout components. Your site will be 100% unique, guaranteed, no "cookie-cutter" sites here.
All of our sites are built using the PHP scripting language, allowing a very high degree of flexibility and ease-of-use no matter how complex your site is. So, even if your site doesn't include a content management system, it will very easy to maintain and update whenever necessary. And, if you'd prefer to leave the updates to us, we offer on-demand site maintenance whenever you need it.
As part of our standard web design package, we also offer graphic design services, to make your site truly stand out. Depending on your project and organization, we can either match a design to your existing logo and publications, or design something entirely fresh and new. And, if you already have a graphic project you like (an advertising poster, for example), we can easily turn it into a website layout.
In addition to the basic components of a website, we also take care of other details many designers disregard. To make your site more accessible to viewers with disabilities, we take great care to conform with the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Section 508 regulations, making sure everyone can enjoy your site. We also ensure that every page of your site looks the same in every popular web browser, and we design every page to be printer-friendly, eliminating the need for separate "Printer-Friendly" links on content pages.
And, if your site needs a custom-written application to fit your needs, we can do that too! We enjoy a challenge, and we have the expertise to make your site function exactly like you want it to. If you can dream it, we can make it happen!
Due to the flexible nature of our products and services, pricing is provided on a per-site basis. So, please contact us for an estimate.
Phillip Long, or "Phil", is a life-long resident of Harrisonburg, VA. He has worked with websites for over a decade, but never really considered his talents a marketable skill until recently. Originally, he planned to pursue a career in network administration, but web design proved to be a more rewarding career, and he always enjoys improving his skills. He's primarily self-taught, but has taken several classes in HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and database administration to round-out his skillset.
Outside of his design career, Phil enjoys travelling, hiking, and photography.
